Detailed
Inké Refill Procedures
|

|
Step 1
Turn on the refill system by switching on the
main switch at the back of the refill system.
Start button will light up in red.
|
|
|
Step 2
Open refill tray gently by pressing the
indentation on both side of the tray.
|
|
|
Step 3
Load an empty original cartridge vertically
into the cartridge slot.
|
|
|
Step 4
Load a new
Inké ink tank into the ink tank slot
|
|
|
Important Note for Loading
Ink Tank
Ensure the white arrow on ink tank points
downward and align it with white marking on refill tray
|
|
|
Step 5
Close the refill tray gently by pressing the
indentation on both side of the tray.
|
|
|
Step 6
Press & release the start button once to
start the refilling process.
Start button will blink green.
Refilling process about 2-3 minutes.

|
Step 7
Refilling is completed when start button turns
orange.
|
|
|
Step 8
Open refill tray gently and remove the
refilled original cartridge.
|
|
|
|
|
Procedures to Check a
Refilled Original Cartridge
|
|
|
Step 1
Dab off excess ink from print head with a
clean piece of cloth or tissue.
Do not rub against the print head as this
might cause damage to it.

|
|
Step 2
Turn the original cartridge over to ensure
that the ink does not drip.
|
|
|
Step 3
Gently dap the print head on a piece of clean
cloth or tissue.
|
|
|
For successful refill, the print head should
leave a marking as shown in the picture.
|
|
|
If ink drips or does not flow well, proceed to
pressure balancing process. See under "Other Features of Inké
Inkjet Auto Refill System" for pressure balancing procedures.
